Award Criteria: This award recognises individuals who make a significant difference to the success of their team and stadium. They may not always seek the spotlight, but they are a valued, trusted and highly respected member of the team who can be relied upon to make things happen.
This could be someone at the start of their career who has quickly become an important part of the team, an experienced colleague who is always there to support others, or someone whose dedication, attitude and contribution have made a lasting difference to those around them.
The Unsung Hero could come from any team or department within the stadium. They may be the person colleagues turn to, someone who consistently supports and encourages others, or simply someone who completes their role exceptionally well. Above all, this award recognises someone who is highly regarded by their colleagues and whose contribution deserves to be celebrated.
Your Submission: Evidence you could include in your entry could be statistics, customer feedback, pictures etc. Please ensure your entry is strictly no longer than 2 sides of A4 in total. Please also submit a jpeg picture of the person or team in action, if possible. If you’re lucky enough to work with more than one amazing person, then you are welcome to enter up to two individuals per venue!
To Enter: Please complete the entry form below (you can select multiple categories to ensure these are processed on one invoice if preferred). Supporting documents should be submitted to office@stadiumexperience.com by Wednesday 24th March 2027.
Judging Process: This award will be independently judged by a panel of industry expert judges. Each will provide a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place vote, translated to scores. The entry with the highest score wins. Clubs may enter more than one person. Judges feedback commentary is available after the awards evening on request.
Results: Bronze, Silver and Winner awards will be announced and presented at The Stadium Events & Hospitality Awards 2027. All award winners will be invited to the stage to collect their award. Winners will be invited for a brief video interview on the night to share your success.
