Kevin is the Head of Partnerships at fcbusiness Magazine, which is the business magazine for the football industry serving as a practical guide to those involved in the business of running a football club at every level. Published since 2004, fcbusiness is now at the forefront of the football industry.
Andrew Perolls is founder and CEO of Greengage Solutions. Uniquely positioned as an events and business travel expert as well as an environmental sustainability specialist. He set up the company to provide independent advice and support to businesses wanting to embrace a greener approach.
Andrew’s previous experience includes UK and international roles at Board level including BCD Meetings & Events, CTM and Business Travel Direct.
Kerrin MacPhie became chief executive of the mia in November 2021. Having previously held senior posts in destinations, associations, hotels and convention centres as well as a number of voluntary board positions across the sector’s national and international associations, her extensive knowledge and infectious passion for business meetings and events provides the perfect background to support members while ensuring the mia continues to grow and adapt to the future needs of the industry.
Kerrin is inspired by doing new things, developing new ideas and taking a new approach to deliver growth and development, building strong relationships and creating new opportunities. She is therefore delighted to be judging this year’s awards and is looking forward to hearing more about those stadiums who have demonstrated innovation and excellence in their operations and services over the last 12 months.
Andy has a wide range of hospitality experience, having worked in the industry as a chef in his local pub aged just 15. Since then Andy has held various hotel management positions, as well as General Manager for Hilton and Menzies Hotels, and various independent hotels on the South Coast.
Andy has been with venuedirectory.com for nearly 10 years and heads up the Independant Venues Sales team. He enjoys forging the strong relationships between venues, agents and bookers, developing more business opportunities in the corporate marketplace. He is thrilled to be asked to be a judge on this year’s Stadium Events & Hospitality Awards panel.
Juliet has been immersed in hospitality and events since her first role with Trusthouse Forte and subsequently enjoyed a successful career in venue sales and marketing, which also encompassed De Vere Hotels and Hotel de France. In the late 90’s she moved to the agency sector as an account director for an event management company, before becoming head of operations at Hoteline, which was later acquired by Hotelzon where Juliet headed up marketing in the UK. In 2011 she joined her husband as co-director of Polygon Consulting, and has been working with industry association HBAA /Beam as their Development Consultant for around 10 years.

Karen started in this industry 25 years ago, and is dedicated to building excellent working relationships with clients and suppliers alike. We work with international clients booking a variety of meetings and events, and support them further with a bespoke accommodation booking system. Recently we launched Search4Venues – our online Venue Directory that anyone can access to source suitable venues and obtain their contact details with one quick search.
Shirley currently runs SWJ Events and is the Event Director, looking after her clients bespoke events working within the MICE industry. Also the Events Logistics Lead for business engagement organisation Business South Group and Treasurer to the Southampton & Region Hoteliers Association.
Previously Shirley was the membership secretary for Stadium Experience until 2015, and managed the organisation and these prestigious awards on behalf of the members for 14 years. Shirley joined the conference industry at just 21 as a conference co-ordinator at one of Country Club Hotels properties in Hampshire and has since enjoyed almost 30 years within this exciting sector.
Craig fell in love with hospitality early in life and spent the initial years of his career working with terrific teams in London’s theatreland and iconic venues, which included The London Eye and The Roundhouse.
Craig stepped into recruitment in 2011 and spent eight successful years agency side working with a variety of clients in hospitality and leisure. Following a stay with Ennismore and The Hoxton, he launched his own hospitality talent partnership ‘mum’ in 2019 to offer a more personalised and progressive alternative to traditional recruitment.
Craig is delighted to be invited back to judge this year’s Stadium Events & Hospitality Awards.
