Job Vacancy: Food & Beverage Operations Manager (Players & Members) at Lord’s Cricket

Contract type: Permanent 

We are seeking an experienced Food and Beverage Operations Manager to deliver exceptional food and beverage services at our prestigious Members’ Pavilion and facilities on both match days and non-match days. This role involves working closely with high-profile internal and external stakeholders, including committee members, executive board members, and domestic and international cricket players.

Key responsibilities include managing match day operations, overseeing player dining experiences, planning and executing non-match-day events, and maintaining high standards of service across all functions. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, financial acumen, and the ability to manage a dynamic team to deliver outstanding experiences for members and players alike. REQUIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience (3-5 years) in food and beverage operations management, preferably in a high-end or sports environment.
  • Experience in managing food and beverage operations in a sporting or members’ club environment.
  • Strong understanding of event management, particularly within the hospitality or catering sector
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with high-profile stakeholders, including committee members, executives, and professional athletes.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with experience in training and staff development.
  • Excellent communication and people skills, with a keen eye for detail and a customer-focused approach.
  • Passionate about food and beverage catering, with a strong ambition and the ability to apply innovative ideas to consistently enhance the customer experience.
  • A strong understanding of cricket.
  • Food hygiene level 2 certificate.
  • Personal licence holder.
  • WSET or equivalent level 2 qualification.
