Rob Kennedy has been specially selected by the Head Judge (Rod Bowker) to be an expert judge for the Matchday Hospitality Awards. This judge has been chosen based upon their extensive knowledge and involvement in both the chef and hospitality industries, with over 20 years extensive experience and a passion for driving up standards. Biography

Rob Kennedy is a Culinary Director across private education. His experience repertoire of cooking has seen him prepare meals for some of the highest profile people in the world, including HM Queen five times.

Rob accelerated his chef career through the industry having various roles including Executive chef at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and Executive Chef of the Wimbledon Championships.

Alongside these prestige locations, Rob has excelled in culinary competition winning over 85 National and inter-national awards including two Olympic Gold medals.

Rob joined the English National Team in 2014 and has represented his country at both the World cup in Luxemburg and Culinary Olympics in Germany.

Rob has appeared on BBC television on numerous occasions including Royal recipes series 2. His fun character and food knowledge also saw him appear on BBC radio for over two years.

The Craft guild of chef awards are held every year as the top chefs from across the country come together to experience an equivalent to the Oscars! Rob has been nominated in the top 3 chefs across 4 categories. He has won two of the awards for Cost sector chef and competition chef.

Robs philosophy of food is Quality, Simple, Delicious and these values are key to his success. As a passionate chef Rob has worked with many catering colleges, apprentices, and young chefs. His enthusiasm and mentoring have received 5 “young chef of the year” titles.
