Worcester Warriors Rugby Club is recruiting for a Hospitality Supervisor to join their team at Sixways Stadium.

Main purpose of job: To help and plan and implement the delivery for the hospitality operations in the Stadium including conferences & events.

To supervise and work as part of a team to ensure that exceptional customer service is delivered whilst also achieving high standards in the provision of food and beverage services.

Position reports to: Hospitality & C&B Manager

Type of contract: Full time – Permanent

Main Duties

Main Objectives:

  • To work within a team to deliver fantastic customer service for stadium visitors.`
  • To be the lead person for the FOH supervisory team on match days and general staff on set up days.
  • To assist and support the, FoH Management team always to ensure the optimum profitability of all operations.
  • To assist in the preparation and management of plans for the delivery of the food and beverage offering for Match days. Banqueting, Conference and Events.
  • To ensure all hospitality operations are consistently delivered to a market leading standard.
  • To oversee deliveries and stocking processes for match and non-matchdays.
  • To assist in the stock control and ordering of all Conference & Banqueting supplies, including the undertaking of stock takes.
  • Maintain service standards.
  • To communicate your match day staff requirements for your relevant areas and to liaise closely with both the Hospitality management team and the staffing coordinator to ensure these requirements are met.
  • Work closely with the Heads in the Food & Beverage department to ensure compliance with health and safety and food safety standards across all of the Hospitality areas.
  • To assist the FoH Management team in managing the personal development of all Hospitality Catering Staff through identification and implementation of training and development needs.
  • Monitor feedback from customers, reporting to the Head of Food & Beverage to adjust and improve our service.
  • Ensure all team members work efficiently and to a high standard of cleanliness and customer service during all shifts.
  • To work closely with the Sales Department/ Commercial team to ensure consistent and effective communication regarding upcoming events.
  • To assist in the communication of business objectives by attending management meetings as required.
  • To actively promote and present the venue in a positive aspect and to highlight/ communicate sales opportunities that arise through daily customer interaction.
  • To undertake any other duties deemed commensurate with the post and as directed by management and / or the Company.

  • To be pleasant and courteous and have exceptional customer service skills.
  • Be flexible around hours and days of work.
  • Be adaptable to changing work and environments.
  • Have basic numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Computer literate.
  • Ability to lead, motivate and form effective working relationships with team members.
  • Be able to work as part of a team and alone.
  • Be of smart appearance with good personal hygiene.
  • Pro-active in problem solving and work on own initiative to deal with problems and opportunities.
  • To have a flexible and positive attitude in order to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
