Working with 1879 Events Management, the Stadium of Light has fully flexible space to host conferences, meetings, exhibitions, training exercises, banqueting and award dinners. Key to the success of the venue is its flexibility; the Banqueting suite with its high ceilings is ideal for large stage sets, complemented by the Business Lounge creating an adjacent exhibition space and for the evening these can be easily transformed into a spectacular awards dinner venue complete with dance floor and entertainment. Some of the smaller rooms offer panoramic views over the River Wear and the City whilst the Executive Boxes have the stadium itself as a backdrop.
There are a host of ‘extras’ that this stadium can offer over more conventional conference centres; pitch-side and concourse access for delegates, personalise the scoreboard with your corporate message or acknowledge high achievers with ‘their name in lights’, for larger conferences on selected dates take your indoor conference outdoors with pitch-side staging and stadium seating guaranteed to keep your delegates attention.
