Omero Gallucci has been specially selected by the Head Judge (Rod Bowker) to be an expert judge for the Matchday Hospitality Awards. This judge has been chosen based upon their extensive knowledge and involvement in both the chef and hospitality industries, with over 40 years extensive experience and a passion for driving up standards. Retired development chef, Omero Gallucci’s highly decorated culinary career spans over 50 years.
Omero has worked within many areas of the industry, including teaching, running his own ‘cucina’, as well as competing and later on judging in multiple international competitions.
A fellow of the Craft Guild of Chefs, a disciple of Escoffier, and a member of the British Culinary Federation, Omero has won over 400 individual awards in his life in food.
Whilst working on cruise ships, in hotels and bistros, Omero also ran many culinary teams in competitions, adding a further 1000 awards to his accolades.
This British chef with influences from his Italian heritage, is a man to be honoured. A treasure that the British food industry has been lucky to have.
