Munster Rugby in Ireland has joined the Stadium Experience team.
Thomond Park Stadium, home to Munster Rugby, in Limerick becomes the third Irish stadium venue to join the marketing consortium, alongside Croke Park Stadium and Aviva Stadium, both located in Dublin. The new signing, takes the total membership to well over 50 football and rugby stadium venues across the UK & Ireland.
Membership to Stadium Experience sees all member venues pledging to work in a collaboration to drive up standards, share best practice, and promote stadia as unique and prestigious venues for meetings, conferences and events. Recent new members include; Arsenal Football Club, Aviva Stadium, Croke Park Stadium, Ipswich Town Football Club, Manchester United Football Club, Munster Rugby, Notts County Football Club, St. Helens Rugby Club, Stoke City Football Club, Swansea City Association Football Club, Ospreys Rugby, West Bromwich Albion Football Club and Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club. About Munster Rugby
Thomond Park Stadium was redeveloped in 2008, with award-winning design and architecture. An entire level in the east stand is dedicated to an array of hospitality & conferencing facilities, catering for all types of requirements from business meetings and seminars to large-scale conferences, receptions, and gala banquets. The venue boasts five state-of-the-art event suites, which can be adapted and tailored to suit any type of corporate event or function with top class audio visual facilities. The spacious Thomond Suite can facilitate banquet style dining for up to 470 guests and up to 800 for theatre style conference events. This unique suite features glass facades that provide natural daylight with panoramic views of the famous stadium and the hallowed Thomond Park pitch. Stadium Experience is a not-for-profit marketing collaboration aiming to promote and market stadium venues for conferences, meetings and events. The organisation was established in 2002 focusing for football venues, and evolved in 2013 to welcome rugby stadium venues too. With the increasing membership, Stadium Experience has significantly stepped up its activities.
