Emirates Old Trafford is an award-winning conference and events venue, encapsulating the very best in quality facilities, intelligent spaces, and the finest traditions of modern cricket. With over 3,600m² of venue space, the venue has the capacity to host your perfect event. Emirates Old Trafford is now recognised as one of the UK’s most prestigious venues for conferences, exhibitions, meeting, Christmas parties and much more.
The Point is the ground’s award-winning facility, which can cater for a variety of events. Featuring an elevated glass-fronted suite with a balcony overlooking the famous Lancashire Cricket pitch, the suite offers seven-metre headroom, with no pillars to impede the view. The room itself is flexible and can be divided into three sections perfect for smaller events. The Point has a sit-down dinner capacity for up to 1,000 guests – or 850 with a dance floor. Conference and exhibition capacity is also 1,200. The space is sub-divisible into three areas, ideal for large events that need separate rooms or smaller functions. A footbridge links The Point to the Pavilion and the on-site Hilton Garden Inn hotel, allowing delegates to have easy access to breakout rooms and syndicate spaces, before retiring in the hotel for a restful night’s sleep – making it the perfect location for multi-day residential conferences.
The ground’s Pavilion accommodates nine Executive Boxes for more intimate, one-to-one meetings. Alongside your meetings, the venue can also provide exceptionally mouth-watering food options from their renowned catering team and can even provide all the technical assistance you may require! The Executive Boxes can cater for between 14 and 18 people, making them perfect breakout spaces if you’re hosting a large event, or ideal for board meetings. Each box includes a private balcony with access to seats that offer stunning views of the pitch. If you’re seeking an alternative room to hold face-to-face interviews or need a breakout space with a difference, the Executive Boxes will provide you with inspiration. Also located within the Pavilion and suitable for smaller scale events, are the venue’s suites. With capacities ranging from 24 to 200, the suites at Emirates Old Trafford can be set up in a variety of different formats to suit your needs. All suites benefit from natural light and spectacular views of the Lancashire Cricket pitch.
The Hilton Garden Inn Hotel is also located on-site at Emirates Old Trafford and currently holds 150 bedrooms, 85 of which are pitch-facing. The 4-star hotel boasts a relaxing Garden Grille Restaurant and reception bar, offering a range of delicious food and drinks, and guests have access to the resident’s gym. 2023 will see a 100-bedroom extension of the hotel, including a lower tier stand and concourse, a new conference and events space, as well as enhanced facilities such as a museum experience and retail store.
The Point offers a blank canvas to inspire creativity, and can host a wide range of events for a sit-down dinner capacity for up to 1,000 guests – or 850 with a dance floor. The Point is an elevated suite with a stunning aspect and its enormous seven-meter windows allow unrivalled and unimpeded panoramic views of the world famous cricket pitch. Large, full of light, versatile and modern, The Point is an organiser’s dream venue. Our luxurious facilities include a mezzanine bar overlooking the main suite and another 4 separate private bars that can cater for all events big and small. The space is sub-divisible into three areas, ideal for large events that need separate rooms or smaller functions and has its own balcony. The dimension of the full suite is approximately: W – 19.5 mtrs, L – 57.7 mtrs, H – 7.4 mtrs (highest point).
The Mezzanine bar is a luxurious flexible event space with lift access and its own private bar. The Mezzanine runs the full length of the Point, which is situated below. Recently installed, floor to ceiling privacy glass windows give you and your guests a unique opportunity. Either leave the glass frosted to keep the two spaces completely private of each other for VIP drinks receptions and breakout space; or with the press of a button turn the glass back clear for a grand reveal of the room below – perfect for conferences and dinners alike.
The Executive Boxes at Emirates Old Trafford offer high end, luxurious spaces which are ideally suited to host small meetings. Located in the main Pavilion on the fourth floor, supported by lift access, Executive Box 6 is able to accommodate a maximum of 16 delegates in a cabaret style layout. With executive meeting tables, built in TV screen and stylish design, Executive Box 6 is a dynamic, intimate and unique meeting space. The walls are adorned with memorabilia from classic cricketing moments at Old Trafford and includes a private balcony with access to seats and stunning views of the pitch.

The Executive Boxes at Emirates Old Trafford offer high end, luxurious spaces which are ideally suited to host small meetings. Located in the main Pavilion on the fourth floor, supported by lift access, Executive Box 1 is able to accommodate a maximum of 18 delegates boardroom style. With an executive meeting table, built in TV screen and stylish design, the Executive Box is a dynamic, intimate and unique meeting space. The walls are adorned with memorabilia from classic cricketing moments at Old Trafford and the Box includes a private balcony with access to seats and stunning views of the pitch.
This suite is located on the second floor of the main Pavilion, which is supported by lift access. The Club Suite is the perfect setting for medium sized meetings and presentations, or for use as a syndicate area in conjunction with one of our larger spaces. This suite can accommodate 32 delegates cabaret style (based on 4 tables of 8 delegates) or 60 delegates theatre style. Formally the home team dressing room, the walls are now lined with cricketing imagery which reflects the history of the Club whilst offering a unique setting for your event. With remarkable views of the pitch and natural daylight, The Club Suite truly is an outstanding space to impress your guests.
The 1864 Suite is a vibrant, open space that is ideal for conferences, dinners, drinks receptions, networking events, meet and greet functions; or parties with a closer, more relaxed feel. Boasting its own private bar, a seated balcony and a panoramic view of the pitch, the suite can be tailored down to the finest of detail. Built in LED lighting is available if you wish to elegantly illuminate your event.
The Honours Suite is located on the first floor of the main Pavilion, which is supported by lift access. The room is able to accommodate a maximum of 32 delegates cabaret style or 50 delegates theatre style. Filled with natural daylight, the walls are lined with Lancashire County Cricket Club trophies providing an inspiring venue space. The Honours can be used as a standalone suite or can be easily combined with the Members’ Suite for maximum flexibility.
The Library Suite is located on the first floor of the main Pavilion, which is supported by lift access. The Library Suite is able to accommodate a maximum of either 70 delegates theatre style or 48 delegates cabaret style. Combining the heritage, history and atmosphere of Lancashire’s famous cricket pavilion and offering fantastic views of the cricket pitch, The Library Suite offers a truly unique experience.
The Members’ Lounge and Longroom is located on the first floor of the main Pavilion, which is supported by lift access. At the heart of the Pavilion, the Members’ Lounge and Longroom is contemporary in style but retains the character and heritage of the old building with its high ceilings and arch windows. The suite also has its own private bar/servery. The Members’ Lounge and Longroom can accommodate a maximum of 180 delegates, theatre style or 96 delegates, cabaret style. The room is illuminated with glowing natural daylight, and has a spectacular view of the famous pitch. Take a stroll outside onto the terrace, and feel the atmosphere of over 150 years of first-class cricket heritage.
The Lancaster Suite is located on the second floor of the main Pavilion, which is supported by lift access and is the perfect space for smaller parties, presentations and meetings. This suite can accommodate 48 delegates cabaret style (based on 6 tables of 8), 80 delegates theatre style or 32 delegates boardroom style. The Lancaster Suite has an excellent specification of AV Equipment including an LCD Projector. The Lancaster Suite is an open space that is beautifully lit and has tremendous views of the cricket pitch. It is perfect for impressing your guests with a mixture of glamour and comfort. With its fully stocked bar and attached balcony, The Lancaster Suite is a versatile and adaptable space for a variety of events.
Whether you’re looking for a private or shared party night, we have something to suit everybody and to ultimately ensure that you have a night to remember. With our private party nights, our Christmas co-ordinators will help create your bespoke party for just you and your guests.
Our private party nights will give you the opportunity to arrange your own party, with our Christmas co-ordinators on-hand to help bring the seemingly impossible to life. There is no set capacity for private parties at Emirates Old Trafford; we can cater up to a maximum of 1,200 guests in The Point and up to 220 in one of our suites in the Pavilion.
