The Spitfire Ground, set in the heart of Canterbury, is home to Kent County Cricket Club, and one of Kent’s leading conference and events venues.
The ground is one of the regions foremost conference and events venues with a fantastic selection of suites available for hire for all kinds of corporate and private occasions.
An unusual facet of this ground is the prominent lime tree situated on the pitch. The ground was built around the tree and as such, special local rules were introduced; shots blocked by the tree were counted as a four. To this day only four cricketers have cleared the tree to score a six.
The venue underwent a £9 million redevelopment to create best in class facilities. The conference and events facilities were modernised while the pavilion and other stands upgraded.

Kent County Cricket offers a variety of function and banqueting rooms ideal for private parties and prom celebrations. The Chiesman Pavilion and Harris Room; being the most popular for evening parties and celebrations.
Prom packages include; venue hire, chefs choice finger buffet, disco and DJ.

The Chiesman Pavilion can host up to 200 theatre style, 200 for a reception, and 160 cabaret style.
The Cornwallis Room can host up to 180 theatre style, 150 for a reception, and 90 cabaret style.
The HR GO Harris Room can host up to 250 theatre style, 250 for a reception, and 180 cabaret style.
The Spitfire Bar can host up to 150 for a reception.
The Spitfire Ground offers a selection of executive boxes, ideal for up to 10 guests. Larger boxes are available for up to 30 guests.
The Committee Room is ideal for 25-30 guests.
The Cowdrey Meeting Room is ideal for 25-30 guests.
