The City Ground is home to Nottingham Forest Football Club and is a fantastic meetings and events venue in Nottingham.  

Nottingham Forest FC has made a multi-million-pound investment in refurbishing the hospitality infrastructure, elevating the experience at The City Ground. With revamped spaces and new catering provider, Sodexo Live!, the stadium is committed to delivering a world-class experience on both matchdays and non-matchday events.

Spaces For Hire at The City Ground

Overlooking the River Trent, our newly revamped Trentside Lounge offers a versatile, modern space with two elegant bars and a sleek buffet station, making it ideal for hosting a variety of events, from dinners and exhibitions to private parties and large functions. The space can be divided into five separate areas, offering flexibility for customised events, breakout sessions, or smaller gatherings within a larger event.

A favourite among Nottingham Forest fans, the Robin Hood Suite sits beside the iconic two stars at The City Ground, where players enter on matchdays. It offers everything for a seamless event, including a fully stocked bar and varied menu options.

With its exclusive entrance from the Brian Clough stand, this area provides an enhanced experience for attendees, complete with natural light and views of the Fan Zone. Access to the executive boxes makes it perfect for breakout sessions and collaborative activities, ideal for networking events, conferences, large meetings, and award ceremonies, fostering a dynamic and engaging environment.

  • GARIBALDI LOUNGE – This newest addition to The City Ground features a unique and modern design that fuses an industrial aesthetic with contemporary elements. This lounge can accommodate up to 100 guests, making it an excellent choice for conferences, dinners, award nights, and workshops. (Maximum Capacity: 100)
  • PLAYERS LOUNGE – This versatile space is perfect for a wide range of activities, including workshops, networking events, and team-building exercises. While it functions as an exclusive lounge for players’ families and friends on matchdays, it converts into an adaptable space for group events and social gatherings on non-matchdays. (Maximum Capacity: 74)
  • FOUNDERS 1865 – The newly renovated lounge seamlessly blends elegance with modern amenities, creating a sophisticated environment for any occasion. Accommodating up to 100 guests, Founders 1865 boasts stylish booth seating that promotes comfort and intimacy. (Maximum Capacity: 100)
  • THE VAULT – This premium room can host up to 50 guests and features an authentic vault door that adds a distinctive flair. With a separate boardroom included, it is perfect for various events, ranging from small to mid-sized social gatherings and drink receptions to meetings and workshops. (Maximum Capacity: 50)
  • McGOVERN’S LOUNGE – Another new addition to The City Ground, McGovern’s Lounge offers an intimate setting for small gatherings. This room is perfect for private celebrations, including birthdays, baby showers, and anniversaries, as well as small corporate events. (Maximum Capacity: 44)
  • MUSEUM – This space is ideal for themed events, fully immersing guests in the rich history of Nottingham Forest. Decorated with memorabilia and celebrating iconic moments from the club’s past, the space accommodates 27 guests in theatre-style seating, featuring padded chairs similar to those used during matches. Furthermore, the museum acts as a welcoming reception area, inviting up to 50 guests into an exciting environment filled with history and nostalgia. (Maximum Capacity: 50)
