Friday 1st November and Saturday 2nd November will see the return of From The Ground Comes Light at the Totally Wicked Stadium
This will be the third consecutive year that the event has taken place, with the previous years’ 2022 and 2023 feedback confirming it has been a resounding success and an improved experience for the premier bonfire event in St.Helens and the surrounding areas.
The unique event, sponsored by St Helens Borough Council, is an opportunity to watch first-class entertainment for a great value ticket price geared towards families. Councillor Kate Groucutt, St Helens Borough Council’s Cabinet Member for Business, Culture and Leisure, said: “From The Ground Comes Light has established itself as a firm family favourite, so we’re delighted to work with Saints once again to bring this spectacular event to the borough over two-nights.
The Totally Wicked Stadium is one of the best purpose-build rugby league stadiums in the world, geared to hosting a variety of events like this, so spectators are certainly in for a fantastic evening of quality entertainment in a safe and controlled environment.”

ENTERTAINMENT
There will again be a packed offering of live entertainment from local artists including Kiera Weathers, DJ Eric Mckenna, Juke, Bring The Fire Project and Saints Angels Cheerleaders. Children’s entertainment, face painting, inflatables and other activities, will also take place in the stadium concourses before the main entertainment delivered by and Fantastic Fireworks begins on the pitch.
Gates will open from 5:15pm to ensure you can enjoy everything we have an offer!
TICKETS
Tickets are priced at £10 for adults and £6 for children aged 11 and under. A family ticket that includes two adults and two 11 and under tickets is priced at £25 – meaning a £7 saving for a family of four. Please note: Age checks will take place on entry, we ask to ensure your purchase the correct age category of ticket for your party.
Event tickets will be available to purchase from Friday 6th September at 10am via eticketing.co.uk/saintsrlfc or by phoning 01744 455 052 during the Ticket Office’s opening hours (9am-5pm Mon-Fri, 10am-4pm Sat)
To ensure the fastest possible process, we encourage spectators to create an online ticketing account here and purchasing via this method from Friday. Previously this event has sold out in 2022 & 2023, so we advise you to be quick to avoid disappointment.
FOOD & DRINK
The stadium will have an extensive food and drink offering available for attendees from the stadium kiosks, this includes regular match-day offerings such as Cottom’s Pies, Rollover Hot Dogs, Pizzas, Soft Drinks, Alcohol and Hot Drinks as well as Candyfloss and Popcorn to keep in line with the target audience.
HOSPITALITY
We have a limited number of our VIP Executive Boxes priced at £300 for a package of 12 guests, which includes a private box with viewing balcony, exclusive bar access, hot buffet of pizza, chicken nuggets and chips. FREE COUNCIL PARKING
No parking will be available at the Totally Wicked Stadium site, however St Helens Council car parks will be available and free for the evening – these can be found here.
Very limited Accessible parking will be made available, with more details to follow shortly.
LIGHT-UP TOYS
Following the success of selling light-up toys at the 2023 event, we will once again be selling these but with an increased number of selling areas. These will be located outside the stadium near the Keiron Cunningham Statue and the South-East turnstile, as well as in and around the concourses. We ask attendees to please be aware of illegal sellers and not to purchase from them.
