The Portman Road Stadium, home to Ipswich Town Football Club, is a unique, well-respected and exclusive venue, able to host a range of events. From conferences to seminars, parties to product launches, the scope of events we can host is limitless. Offering good transport link, whilst still being centrally located, Ipswich Town Football Club is easily accessible.
Our extensive array of rooms, suites and lounges enable us to accommodate up to 300 people for informal events. We provide our own state of the art equipment and work closely with local AV providers and companies to equip your event requirements.

Our largest and most adaptable suite is the Sir Bobby Robson Suite. Overlooking our award-winning pitch, with a panoramic view, the suite offers itself as a fabulous facility for conferences, dinners and exhibitions amongst its large variety of capabilities. The freshly decorated and ultra-modern suite offers itself as a professional and distinctive venue.
Situated directly above the Sir Bobby Robson Suite, we have Beattie’s (previously known as Legends) This suite is ideal for hosting all types of event within the unique facility. Suitable for hosting conferences, parties, product launches, meeting and seminars, Beattie’s is a unique facility that can be adapted to suite any style of event.
Our West Stand boasts 12 high quality executive suites, all with outside stadium seating and spectacular views of the Portman Road Pitch. Suitable for intimate meals, small meetings, as well as board table conferences, each suite accommodates up to 12 people. Each suite also has a private cloakroom and WC.
Among our Executive Suites, we have the Sponsors Lounge, catering for up to 24 delegates. This spacious, modern lounge offer flexibility for medium sized events and a fabulous view of the award-winning Portman Road pitch. The Sponsors Lounge also benefits from the opportunity to utilise surrounding suites, including the TV Studio and Executive Suites, to use as breakout spaces or refreshment areas.
Our Premier Lounge is a versatile room overlooking the practice pitch at Portman Road. Offering an intimate setting, this suite is ideal for smaller seminars, presentations and business lunches. Also boasting the opportunity to be used in conjunction with our Executive Suites on the floor above, or our Media Suite located on the same floor.
The Sir Alf Ramsey Suite, named after one of Ipswich and England’s greatest football managers. The spacious suite has modern bar facilities, private toilets and offers itself nicely as a breakout space for the Hall of Fame.
Our Hall of Fame (previously Centre Spot) pays tribute to the ex-players and legends of Ipswich Town Football Club and offers an insight into the history of the longstanding Portman Road Stadium. The room offers ambience and character within the brightly lit room.
