Job Vacancy: Business Development Manager (Fundraising) at Allianz Park

Saracens Sport Foundation are seeking to appoint a Fundraising Manager within the current team. The ideal candidate will be a confident and experienced fundraiser with a strong record with major donor/corporate fundraising. This a varied role that will see you managing strategic corporate relationships and growing new partnerships. You will develop strong and effective relationships both internally and externally. The candidate will additionally have strong written and oral communication skills.

Saracens Sports Foundation was founded as result of a required need… To support and inspire the local community through the power of sport. The Foundation has a number of different initiatives which are rolled out to address specific social needs within the community by encouraging increased participation in sports and physical activity.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
  • Manage a team be able to create and deliver fundraising activities within the Foundation
  • Create and deliver a Fundraising strategy for the charity to maximise income and sustain projects
  • Identify grant funding opportunities and in turn be able to formulate grant proposals to gain funding

  • Continue to raise awareness of the Foundation through close client interactions.
  • Lead the strategic development in close partnership with the Head of Foundation and the Chief Community Officer of the Foundation to identify and deliver income generating opportunities.
