Southampton FC is recruiting for a Head Chef to join their team at St Mary’s Stadium.
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Head Chef to lead the kitchen at our brand-new pub located within St Mary’s Stadium. This exciting role offers the opportunity to create outstanding dining experiences for fans and visitors on match days and throughout the week. You’ll be responsible for all aspects of kitchen operations, from menu development to ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety.
As Head Chef, you will take a pro-active role in food quality, menu planning, food trends and financial management. You will review working practices to ensure efficiency and effectiveness amongst your team.

We are looking for a Head Chef with proven experience leading a kitchen in a fast-paced environment, ideally in a pub or event venue setting. You’ll need strong leadership and communication skills to motivate and manage your team effectively.
We are ideally looking for experience from fresh food backgrounds, you will be responsible for developing industry leading menus utilising seasonal and British ingredients. You’ll also need a deep understanding of food safety regulations and kitchen hygiene standards to ensure compliance and maintain high standards.
The ideal candidate will thrive under pressure particularly during busy match days, while delivering an exceptional dining experience for our fans. Flexibility is key, as you’ll need to manage the demands of match days, events and daily service with ease.
