Awards Update – Stadium Events & Hospitality Awards to Resume in 2022
Following the latest Government update on the continuing COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic, Stadium Experience (the awards organisers) has decided to have a break from the awards programme in 2021, aiming to resume ready for 2022.
This is to allow our stadium venues the opportunity to re-open and operate in a more consistent manner. This will also provide the appropriate time required for both award applications and the full judging processes, which usually takes place over a period of several months.
The next awards event in 2022 will still be at Liverpool Football Club, as originally planned. The prestigious event will be a very big celebration, marking the 15th annual awards event, and will be held in Stadium Experience’s 20th Anniversary year too. The event date will be decided once more information and Government guidance becomes available, and match fixtures are finalised for the 2021/22 season.
All existing paid sponsorships, award entries and ticket bookings will automatically be moved to the 2022 awards event, unless otherwise indicated. See more about the awards sponsorship details.
The majority of existing 2020 entries (that have been paid for) will now be included in the 2022 awards. Case studies will simply cover multiple years, rather than the usual one year period. Entrants are permitted to adjust and re-submit current entries at a later date. The new entry deadline will be confirmed in due course.
The Matchday Hospitality Awards will resume as soon as Government guidance permits. Judges will be available to attend matches as soon as fixtures resume with hospitality offerings. Clubs should apply in the usual way or contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
