Aimee Richardson Joins Stadium Experience Leadership Team

Aimee Richardson from Allianz Park, home of Saracens Rugby Club, has joined the Stadium Experience Leadership Team.

Stadium Experience has grown it’s Leadership Team, with a new recruit joining the voluntary group. Aimee Richardson is the Business Development Manager at Allianz Park, home of Saracens Rugby Club. Aimee has stepped up to assist with the management of the not-for-profit association, which now works with around 50 football and rugby clubs across the UK and Ireland (See Stadium Experience Member Venues). The Leadership Team meets regularly to discuss and guide the strategic direction of the association, which primarily aims to promote the use of stadium venues for conferences, meetings and events. Aimee brings a wealth of conference and events experience to the team, as well as strengthening representation of rugby club members within the Leadership Team.

Having started her career in the hospitality industry at the O2 Arena with Levy Restaurants and Compass UK & Ireland, Aimee moved on to work for Richard Branson’s, Virgin Limited Edition, at the Kensington Roof Gardens before moving to work with companies such as Individual Restaurant Group and Global hotel company, Taj Hotels. Aimee joined the Events team at Allianz Park Stadium, Home of the Saracen’s, in July 2019 as Business Development Manager. For the past few months Aimee’s main focus has been to increase the Stadiums exposure online and via social media, and to drive new agency business.  As the club moves forward into 2020 with a new West Stand build and brand new, state of the art event spaces, Aimee will continue to be a key part of the business development for both agency and corporate clients.

She commented: “I’m really excited to be given the opportunity to join the Stadium Experience Leadership Team. It will be great to further represent the world of Rugby and Stadia, to help promote the unique venues Stadium Experience collaborates with.”

Collette Salmon, Chair of Stadium Experience, said: “We are delighted to welcome Aimee to join our Leadership Team. Stadium Experience was established over 17 years ago with the aim of sharing best practice and networking focusing purely on the conference and events side of the football stadium business. In 2013, we expanded Stadium Experience membership to include rugby venues too. As we continue to grow and develop, it is important we also continue to incorporate rugby representatives and expertise into our Leadership Team too.”
