Anfield Stadium to host Stadium Events & Hospitality Awards 2020
Stadium Experience is pleased to announce that the 15th annual Stadium Events & Hospitality Awards will be returning to Liverpool for 2020.
The Stadium Events & Hospitality Awards 2020 will be hosted at Anfield Stadium, home of Liverpool Football Club. Previously held in 2017, the awards will return to the club’s Main Stand on Thursday 21st May 2020. Around 500 guests will be welcomed to experience a fine dining five course menu, awards ceremony, followed by DJ and after party onsite until 4am.
Anfield Stadium is the world-famous home of Liverpool Football Club, and an iconic landmark on the Merseyside skyline. The Main Stand has been transformed into one of the largest all seater single stands in European football and a world class facility for supporters to see the Reds play. The stadium offers state-of-the art facilities ideal for corporate dinners, conferences, concerts and major events.
The awards recognise and reward the efforts and dedication shown by the catering, conference and events teams at every football and rugby stadium across the UK and Ireland. The Stadium Events & Hospitality Awards 2020 will officially launch for entries on 1st October 2019, closing on 30th March 2020, with the results announced at the awards evening on 21st May 2020.
Independently Judged
For 2020, there is a new category and all awards will continue to be judged completely independently from Stadium Experience. Some of the judges will be returning, along with some fresh new faces too! HGEM will continue to judge the Non-Matchday Mystery Shopper Award, along with the team of specialist judges with over 20 years’ experience in the chef and hospitality industries, who will focus on the Matchday Hospitality Awards.
A specialist panel of 8 experts will also be judging 6 different categories this year. The panel consists of experienced industry experts from; Conference News, FC Business, HBAA, Pistachio View, The Delegate Wranglers, ToBook, Venue Smart, and Work With Mum.

There will be a total of 14 award categories (Winner, Silver & Bronze available in each category), including:
Visiting Football Directors Award (Voted for by visiting directors)
Visiting Rugby Directors Award (Voted for by visiting directors)
Chef Team of the Year Award (Judged by Salon Culinaire)
Non-Matchday Mystery Shopper Award (Judged by HGEM)
Shining Star Award (Judged by panel of industry experts)
Operations Team of the Year Award (Judged by panel of industry experts)
Matchday Sales Team of the Year Award (Judged by panel of industry experts)

Best Stadium Events Venue Award (Judged by panel of industry experts)
Matchday Hospitality Awards (Judged by specialist chef & hospitality judges)
