ONE of Brighton’s leading events venues is giving corporate guests a helping hand to stay in shape this summer with a new superfood-rich summer menu.
The Amex Stadium, home to Brighton and Hove Albion Football Club and one of the city’s most popular meeting and conference venues, has unveiled a fresh new summer superfood menu, which is sure to be popular with even the most health-conscious of diners.
Chefs at Sodexo Prestige Venues & Events, the stadium’s catering partner, have launched three new healthy menus packed with fresh ingredients, bold seasonal flavours and bursting with health benefits.
Guests can choose from a selection of different salads including kale, clementine and feta with sharp citrus dressing, cherry tomato, spelt, pickled shallots and parsley, Moroccan cous cous and roasted butternut squash, pomegranate and roquette.
These are served with a choice of dressings including Caesar, honey and grain mustard, Thousand Island and balsamic and extra virgin olive oil.
Diners can then choose from a selection of ‘hot toppers,’ such as soy and spring onion roasted salmon fillet, rosemary and garlic marinated halloumi cheese, Cajun-spiced mackerel fillet and garlic and lemon thyme chargrilled chicken breast.
And for those looking for a guilt-free alternative to traditionally rich desserts, there is a fresh fruit salad, rounding off a menu rich in antioxidants, nutrients and vitamins, without skimping on flavour.
Kathy Taylor, sales and marketing manager for Sodexo Prestige Venues & Events at the stadium, said: “We have put together new, light and healthy menus for our corporate guests this summer, which are tasty and satisfying but won’t take their toll on the waistline.
“Our talented chefs have created a variety of menus, which vary depending on the day of the week and feature a host of healthy, seasonal ingredients which pack a healthy punch and also taste as wonderful as they look.”
The American Express Community Stadium has its own main line railway station providing a direct link to the heart of London and also offers complimentary on-site parking.
Its 10 main conference and event suites, which offer views of the pitch or the South Downs, can cater from two to 500 people and its 21 executive boxes each seat up to 10 guests.
