KC Stadium Acquires its First Ever Wedding License
Hull, 13th January 2014 – KC Stadium, a world class stadium in Hull and East Yorkshire, is pleased to announce that it has acquired its first ever wedding license, meaning that from 2014 onwards, couples can select the venue for their ceremony and reception.
KC Stadium is a popular landmark in Hull and this is the first time in its 11-year history that the venue has been licensed to hold civil ceremonies. The new wedding license was granted for the entire venue, which offers couples a very unique opportunity to say their vows to one another in almost any room or location in the stadium.
Wedding packages are all bespoke and tailored to each couple so that Bride and Groom’s to-be can create the amazing day they have always dreamed of. They can choose to get married in a number of locations across the stadium, from one of the prestigious function rooms, to the breath-taking Circle Restaurant with its spectacular views overlooking the pitch. For couples looking for a more quirky setting, they can even choose to say ‘I do’ in one of the club changing rooms.
Lynnsey Pilmer, sales and marketing manager at KC Stadium, explains: “2014 is an exciting year for us so decided it was the perfect time to acquire a wedding license and offer couples the opportunity to get married at a totally unique venue. We have already had lots of enquires and with plenty of dates available in 2014 I think the stadium is the perfect place for a wedding with a unique resonance.”
AS the KC Stadium are new to the wedding circuit, their packages remain very fluid as they want to work with Brides and Grooms closely to really deliver their dream day with every special detail each couple will require.
In addition to this, the stadium is also holding a Wedding Fayre on Valentine’s weekend, where brides can sample canapés and see how the rooms could be dressed for their big day, offering the chance to experience the venue in a different light.
The Wedding Fayre will take place at KC Stadium on Sunday 16th February from 11am-3pm and will also showcase a variety of wedding suppliers, providing brides with plenty of ideas for their wedding day.
