Make Christmas Magical
THE catering and events company behind one of Merseyside’s best loved venues has unveiled plans to make this Christmas truly magical.
Each Friday and Saturday throughout December, Sodexo Prestige Venues & Events is giving partygoers at Everton’s Football Club’s Goodison Park stadium the chance to drink, dance and dine within sight of the hallowed turf.
The venue has created two party packages, the Glitter Ball and the Snow Ball aimed at those planning to let their hair down with friends, family or work colleagues.
And the stadium’s multi-award-winning chefs, have created a special three-course menu, featuring a range of seasonal treats, from cranberries to clementines.
To start, diners can choose either roasted plum tomato and sweet potato soup with basil oil or pressed ham hock and pea terrine on a ciabatta croute with fig and balsamic marmalade.
Main course options include Cheshire chicken supreme with cranberry and sage, thyme mash, roasted root vegetables and a port sauce, homemade pumpkin tortellini in a basil cream sauce with a Shaker salad and North Atlantic cod, crowned with ratatouille and Cheddar cheese and baked in Chablis white wine.
The meal will be rounded off with either chocolate and clementine pots with mini cinnamon doughnuts or cherry and Amaretti cheesecake with a vodka and raspberry sauce.
Each includes a party DJ and live entertainment, with Glitter Ball guests also enjoying an all-inclusive drinks package.
